After six months of marriage, I have to say that Emmanuel and I have grown so much closer. We're beginning to really learn the ins and outs of one another. Emmanuel is an amazing man both inside and out, and I’m truly blessed to be his wife. Our New Year’s Eve plans were originally set to take place in Dallas, but my bestie Kim and her boyfriend Tasmin weren’t going to be able to make it, so Emmanuel and I decided to stay closer to home. We ended up going to the DJ Mad Hatta Best of Both Worlds Party at Zula restaurant. Finding my New Year’s dress was (as always) an ordeal for me. After weeks of searching, I finally found a cute completely ruched dress by BCBGeneration. All of the dresses in BCBG’s new party girl line are under $150 and VERY party friendly. Needless to say, I LOVED my dress and definitely enjoyed living it up in VIP. The hubby and I both found our new favorite drinks… mine being Belvedere and cranberry with a splash of grenadine… So Good! After a night of dancing and ringing in the New Year with a smooch, Emmanuel and I headed home for delicious homemade loaded nachos. I really enjoyed New Year’s and I hope that 2010 will be filled with prosperity, love, and an abundance of blessings.
